2002 XX in NYC needs a little TLC 3,500 firm

Recommended Posts

I have a Silver 2002 CBRXX with around 17,000 miles. Motor runs mint, tranny shifts mint, clutch is brand new. Has light scratches on tail from a driveway drop, seat has small tear, needs chain, tires and the rims are bent and need to be fixed. Aside from that she runs strong and is a great ride. BIKE NEEDS TO BE TRAILERED HOME!!! New brake pads up front. Also have full givi set-up with trunk and tail bags that can be worked into the deal for a few hundred more. 3,500 Firm. Will take pics of the light scratched when I get home.P1000688.jpg

Dibs on the hardbags if not sold on the bike!!

Good luck selling it. Rims can be gotten cheap. Good price, right in the price range for someone who has "bird seller's remorse"

Well if no potholes in NYC how did the rims get bent?

in DC instead of fixing potholes that throw down a inch thick plate of steel and bolt it to the road.. :icon_rolleyes:

Never said NO potholes....but it's a myth that they are any worse than anywhere else.

I don't know how they got bent.

Ya, they are worse than many other places. I live in CT, reguarly drive/ride in many states around me. The GW bridge and around it has some of the friggen biggest holes and huge piles of warped asphalt i have ever seen.

When trailering the bikes south i take 684/287 TappenZ, just to avoid the entire mess. Adds 30 mins, but is well worth it.

your joking right Dave?

I bent both rims on one pot hole on Queens Blvd. Madison ave is one of the worst for pot holes and warped tar.

I laugh at the bump ahead, and bumpy road signs I see in CT and NJ their roads are perfect compared with the ones here.

clicky
