Maybe the government is actually onto something. They talk about it saying the diet increases fruits and vegetables and calls meat protein now. The reality is grains has gone from a staple of the diet to a small portion, about 20%. Not going to get on a soap box about it but other than keeping the masses alive with calories, grains are still bad for you IMHO.
