FS: 2003 XX, 10K miles, HRC Colors

Recommended Posts

2003 XX, 10,000+ miles

History: Extremely well maintained, always fed Honda dino oil. One low side in Arkansas during OzarXX in 2006 but only cosmetic and completely fixed, I’m sure you can do a search to see all the details.

Custom painted in HRC colors. Ask anyone who’s seen it, it’s beautiful.

Tires are in great shape, but a few seasons old, a good amount of tread left.

Aftermarket:

TiForce exhaust, comes with the original.

Givi MonoKey 40L bags, big enough to put a small boy in.

Manic Salamander throttle lock

SW Motech setup for Givi’s

Givi windscreen, original comes with

Mototech LED tail.

Power Commander, the bike is dyno tuned and runs like a beast.

LSL bars, more upright riding position, very comfortable and works well with the Givi screen. Originals come with.

Corbin Smuggler seat

PAIR system removed with a J's kit.

Reason for selling:

Frankly, being a young dad and spending time with my kid (soon to be 2 kids) has displaced the importance of riding. In short, I’d like for someone else to love on it, because I’m not riding much.

I don’t have to sell it. I do want to get it out of the garage and into someone’s hands that loves riding it as much as I did.

Fly in, ride it home. It’ll take you wherever you want to go.

$7,500 firm.

Pic was taken before TiForce and bars were added.

Do you have any pics of what it looks like now?

It's raining cats and dogs here today, so I'll take some new pics tomorrow and get them loaded up.

Wow, as amazed as I am that you're selling that gorgeous bike, I understand.

Let's hope a true XX fanatic gets her.

I feel really weird about it, Jeff. But it just seems like the right time.

Having no bike will be REALLY strange around OzarXX time. I hate that I've missed you guys for the last few.

I hope I am not being insulting or rude

the color scheme is beautiful no doubt, (I personally like it alot) and i like the add-ons.

why is it worth 7500?

Toxxic? Thread policeman, Toxxic. Calling threadpoliceman Toxxic. Someone voiced an opinion....Toxxic will not be happy.

$7500 is the asking price. Did you make a counter offer?

Barry is correct, you should not cock block a for sale thread. :icon_cool: :icon_cool: I am just glad Elliot didn't talk about the 2003 he bought from a Hookers dad for $2K in Montreal! :icon_naughty::icon_evilgrin:

Actually I did not give an opinion.

or attempt to cockblock the sale thread.

(although if I answered Furious's question perhaps that would be true)

I asked a legitimate question, about a bike I really like. asking for more information, which some other potential buyer might also ponder but maybe not dare to ask.

Instead of berating me why not write some details about why this bike is so fantastic.

I'll answer the question for him.

Because someone like me who needs to have everything in absolutely pristine condition, in almost new shape, and need to have the mental comfort that the bike is probably in better than showroom condition will pony up the $7500 for a bike that would cost them probably $4 or $5 thousand more to get. Plus you know how it was treated which for a crazy fucker like me is worth big bucks.

The other reason is that unless you set out to make it yourself you will not fiind a bike that looks like this and is set up like this on the road anywhere.

If he is not in a rush to sell it...there IS a buyer out there at that price.

Plus....it's the last of the Honda sport tourers worth a shit.

IMHO

The more I look it the more I like it - if I could sell my 2002 Silver Bird with 17k miles I'd seriously consider discussing it. But this time of year sucks for selling bikes, even here in FL where it was 32 when I left the house this morning!

why is it worth 7500?

$500 Low miles (only ridden at the track?)

$1500 in extras

$2000 in custom paint

$3500 for the bike added to attributes above.

?

...and right now, it's the only one like it.
