TJ1137
I got a buddy that is looking for a cruiser. He wants to spend around 5K. The only cruiser I ever had was a Vmax. Other than that it's been XX's and ZX11's for the most part. Anyone have any certain bikes they like?

TJ1137
Well, yea, definitely used. He said around 5, so I take that as he'll talk the old lady into 6..LOL
59burst
I had a Victory a while back. That was a very nice cruiser. If I was into cruisers, I'd get another one of those. You can find used ones all day for 5-6k. I had a 2000 V92C. It had 6000 miles on it when I bought it for 6k. It was like showroom new. Not a fast bike, but handled surprisingly well, and came with Brembos stock.
bpg
I always liked the Honda Magna (had 2 of 'em!). Basically a V-4 Interceptor engine dressed up like a cruiser. Faster than most cruisers power-wise, light and agile (500 pounds w/ great lean angle) so they handle much closer to a sportbike, and they're relatively cheap. On a pipe the V-4 sound is sweet, like a Chevy small-block - versus the "me-too" potato-potato of the same ol' v-twin cruisers. Kind of a unique bike from back when Honda still had balls...
