John01XX Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 Since I sell on average over 5 a week of the BlackBird CCT, I usually get a phone call once a week saying that I have screwed up and pulled the pin out of the new CCT before installation!! The question is always the same, "Do I have to buy another CCT?" Curiosity killed the Cat but not the CCT ! The answer is NO. Easy fix is to just rewind the CCT back up with the same pin or use a very small screwdriver. The spring tension has to be rewound before insertion into the BlackBird. Once installed then and only then pull the pin out and listen for the tension spring to unwind. Tightendown the two allen bolts and go riding.
