spicholy
I was out in the backyard today tearing down the kids old swing set. When I was pulling up the landscaping fabric, I found a few sections that had this weird stuff growing under it. It had chuncks of white with fine roots connecting the chunks. It was fairly hard and looked almost like large cottage cheese. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with it out of curiosity.

spicholy
So, I can pretty much rule out any type of mold or fungus that is going to negatively affect my soon to be garden?
Rider99XX
ANY mold is dangerous and can caus major health problems. Kill it and remove it ASAP. Bleach the hell out of it, scrape it up and dispose of it. All mold has some toxic properties. When it drys up, it can release spores into the air, and that is not a good thing to breath in. Just take those pics to a doctor and see what he says about them.
