TFT Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 I have been pricing carpet at some of the local specialty flooring stores. High end stuff runs $5.00 per sq/ft and up. I stopped by Lowes Sunday and the highest price carpet they carries was about $5.00 per sq ft. MOst premium carpet was about $4.00 per sq ft. or less. They have a deal going right now for installation only $199. Anybody know anything about carpet. It seems there carpet for $4.00 is equivalent to the other stores $6.00 carpet.
