Maverick1100 Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 Hey all, I was curious if anyone knew from experience if there are other bikes that have the same bolt pattern as the XX for rearsets. xrdracer Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 You may find something that "bolts-on" to the XX mount locations, however, you run into the issue of all the subcomponents (brake pedal, rear master actuation rod, shifter and linkage) needing to be properly aligned. cbrxxquad Posted December 20, 2007 Share Posted December 20, 2007 I have been looking for some time, and talking to most of the manufactors, best deal is the Gilles at 450 that I have found. I have some that I got off here, but they would not hold my weight and broke. Still have the brackets. Plan on trying some things first. Make some plates from 1/2 inch alum plate for some folding pegs I found. But all have told me there is a difference, just not if it is in the bolting pattern. More than likely there is another that will bolt up as there is only a few sizes, and they are standard, the way I understand. But the ones I have seen will not work on mine except GP shift.....I hate GP shift.... these guys told me they will order for the bird for this price these look interesting for custom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
