Just goes to show you motorcycle people are good with their hands.

Nice work on the bathroom remodel.

NIce job.

I bet that floor was a bit of work.

The floor was a pain in the ass! with the slate on the mesh backing it was very uneven and was difficult to stick to the floor surface. I pulled up slate tile 3 times removing the mesh backing to get it to adhere to the flooring. If I was to do it over I would just use the mesh to set the pattern and remove the individual pieces from the backing to put in the floor. I would have also sealed the floor prior to grouting, this way the grout would release easier from the slate. The slate having uneven surfaces the grout can get in the creases and stay... If I would have sealed the surface first the more of the grout could have been removed from the surface of the slate tiles. Oh well live and learn.

Thought I would put up pics of the finished room

After getting the floor in, went to do the surround area in the Bath and Shower. I ended up using 18"X18" travertine stone, that I cut in half to 9"X18". I saw the design layout in some Hotel not sure what you call it but I think it came out pretty good. I then found some glass tiles that I used for the mid point to break it up as well as the boarder around the area for transition to the wall.

Put in a new fan ( High Air Flow ) new light above the toilet and in the shower, towel bars and Lori then put in all the fluff stuff.
