TOXXIC
I recently bought a new house, and the baseboards and door trim are all real, hardwood. However, all of the interior, hollow core doors are photo laminate. The finish on the doors does not match the wood trim. Initially, I thought of painting the doors, but suspect it would look like hell. Has anyone used any kind of product to reface hollow core doors? I'm not looking forward to shelling out money for replacement doors, if these can be salvaged and made to look better. Thanks for the help guys! SwampNut
I once used matched laminate on doors to make them look like wood. Many hardwood stores stock actual wood sheets you can glue down to anything.
BDAZ XX
Tim check with a local cabinet maker. They reface cabinets with the stuff Carlos is speaking of. We did a big remodel last year and had the kitchen cabinets refaced.
