Motor Psycho Posted December 26, 2006 Share Posted December 26, 2006 I fabricated a small plate that is held by the ignition cover screws and rides right in front of the upper triple clamp. Zero Knievel Posted December 28, 2006 Share Posted December 28, 2006 I put mine on the right side on the plastic panel: I didn't do the install on mine, but the guy before me put it under the instrument cluster. It's a small switch. I suppose it's a good location. Not easy to get to, but you really don't need to adjust the High/Low/Off position when riding, and if you do, so long as you're on a straight stretch, you can get to it while in motion. danzig69 Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 I put mine on the same part as zer0netgain but on the left side. I don't have to release throttle and don't need to look where my hand goe! Heated grip is a really good (a must) thing to have! Putting it under the instrument cluster is more dangerous.
