severdog Posted August 18, 2003 Share Posted August 18, 2003 If you want to save a couple of bucks, and get the "polished silver" look.... Remove your stock bar end weights, and mount it on a 2" piece of all-thread. Chuck this assembly into a drill press, and start sanding. Start with 100 grit wet (while it's spinning, dammit!) and work your way up to 800 grit wet. Now use some rubbing compound on a towel. By this point you should have a brilliant polished bar end.
