XXSTAR
what causes hi-speed wobble, what do you need to check to make sure it does not happen. " IT TAKES ALOT OF HOG TO WEIGHT A TON "
EVLXX
Mainly a weak suspension... but there are really to many variables to list... The bikes overall design is the start.... are you talking BlackBird... or something else ?

JB4XX
I would check the tires. Maybe out of balance or front tire could be cupped from uneven wear. What do I know, I never go more than 5mph over.
jrdxx
Front tire wear, balance and inflation pressure, front wheel bearing wear and runout, and steering head bearing wear and adjustment, for starters. Loose fasteners maybe? Torque checks. Weight and balance issues? Do you run with panniers or a tailpiece? Let your conscience be your guide. cbrriderxx
I've had my bird up to 160 a few times with stock suspension and Z-rated tires. My next push will be up to 170-180 but I worry about the aforemetioned wobble as well. :icon_shocked:
airborneXX
My last Dunlop 208 started to separate at the bead. I noticed the wobble and immediatly took it off until the new tires arrived. Went 5 whole days without riding the 'bird
