Thanks! It's been a great bike, just wish I got to ride it more, but after 4 years that included 3 deployments, 3 moves and 2 kids my only worthwhile use out of it was riding Deals Gap.

True, but the wife disagrees...I had an 02 bird with an extra set of stock mufflers. So I cut the bottom welds and stock end caps to get to the internals. Once I had the internals removed I went back in with a perforated tube and fiberglass that you can customize for the sound you desire. I finished off the end caps with powder coated aluminum, held in place with Allen head screws that are mounted internally to the perforated tube. For some reason I get error messages when I upload these pics and I can't copy and paste either. Send me an email address and I'll forward the pics and a ppoint of the process if you're interested. I also have another set of stock mufflers and stock seat to go with it when it sells.

So as you might recall i was in a low mph accident a couple weeks ago, and i'll probably be able to bring the bird home from the dealership later in the week. But in order to get her running again theres a few things i need, and would prefer not to buy at dealer retail cost. I'm hoping some of you might have spares of these and would like to part with them, my list is: 1 set of front forks, stock 1 front rotor (left side) 1 front axle 1 lower triple clamp 1 front wheel Set of fairings/bodywork for the '02 bird (silver) Let me know if you or someone you know has these parts and would potentially be looking to make a deal within the next month or two. Also, some of these parts like the forks, wheel, axle, etc. are probably interchangeable with other late model birds, at least to my knowledge anyway. So if any of you with '97 on up birds have these parts too and would like to make a buck, please let me know. Thanks Daego

These APC Titanium Yellow bulbs that have been mentioned to work in conjunction with the clear turn signal lenses...anyone have a part # cause wherever i go (pep boys & O'Reilleys so far) they've never heard of such a bulb. One even tried looking them up in an APC catalog and couldn't locate them... John01XX, i think you posted this a while back but I haven't found it. I appreciate any help with this.
