  1. If I had a dime for every time Howie called me up and told me about the next trick bit that this bike has on her... I'd probably have at least ten bucks. This is a top notch bike and I'm supremely bummed to not be in the market to buy it. Easily 10k in this machine, not counting the bike, nor the fact that you can't get this stuff anymore.
  2. From Pauly's bike (the one in CA) Spun rod on #1 and #2 shows a little bit of wear but who gives a damn since you'll send it off to get welded and ground anyway. $40/offer or trade straight up for a KTM 950 flywheel. :icon_pray:
  3. Sounds sketchy. He owes 9 grand but is willing to sell it for $7K. Long way to go to learn the bank won't release interest. Also, it has tip over damage. Let me know if you want me to go look at it, Tim. J.
  4. Howie throws his shit in the trash, he don't sell it to his forum homies!
  5. I tried with a punch and hammer but I've never been any good at it. I'll drop it off at the machinist's today and see if he can do some checkering on it. Hey, Stan. What's up?
  6. Dammit. Welp, sorry. I got this and a clutch cover but no stator cover. Move along, nothing to see here. Sorry, Hank.
  7. 97 crankshaft. Needs one rod journal welded and polished. I can be convinced to measure the main and rod journals to let you know what kind of wear is on it overall. This was from Pauly's motor, lost a rod and I needed the cases. I can't remember his screen name. Or sit it on your mantle as a conversation piece. Or melt it down. Use it as a hammer. I also have a clutch basket and clutch cover.
  8. Well, I don't know about that... Doing well, sfarson and I went and bought VFRs. Fantastic bike, if a bit slow every so often. I suppose I'll buy an XX again, just not right now. This thread brings back some memories for moi. Hey, Tim. How's it going? Brent, looks like your mill was in good hands, a turbo XX must be a force to respect. Kudos. J.
  9. Sweet thread, Stan. Love to see an XX motor torn down now and again.
  10. I concur it's the same bike. It's matey peeps' old bike.
