  1. I keep putting this up for anyone to take advantage of and save a few bucks. Honda Directline Will give you an additional 5% off Ron Ayers prices if you know the part numbers. Plus Free Shipping in the USA. 1-888-258-6699
  2. You can use a $3.00 tire plug kit from your local Auto Parts store. I just bought one last week for my Car. Personally, I have a plug kit as an emergency. As was said if you want to keep using the tire then it should be patched fron the inside. I have run on rear tires with plugs for over a 1000 miles with no problem but I am always aware of its presense. No confidence in a pluged tire and would not do any hard riding. For commuting it will probably be fine till you get to the wear indicators but just be careful. For alittle over $100.00 it is worth replaceing ASAP.
  3. Tim, The APC Titanium Bulbs from AutoZone come in many different colors. You have to pick the ones that say 1157 Amber on the bottom left corner of the package !!! That is if you want them to emit Amber color anyway.
  4. The 2001 Has one molded plug on one end and the connector at the other end is inside the nose plastic and is to big to fit through the hole, so yes you must remove the windscreen. Vern will tell you electrical tape is much easier and won't even give you the E=IR formula either
  5. 2 inches ??????? Try a 1/4 inch square directly over the contact. Works like a Champ I didn't believe the 1156 bulbs would even fit in the socket made for the 1157 ? Clear Alternatives will get the correct ones out to you immediately. You diffenently need a pair of 1157's and then do the electrical tape trick for that stealth look.
  6. My 01 Bird had an intermittant FI light that was the one that Honda traced to a bad ground under the tank. Cleaned ground and some dialectric grease about a year ago and haven't seen it since.
  7. Depends on what you are doing. Are you looking to flush the radiator system or just dreain and refill ? I run engine ice in mine instead of conventional coolant. Helps to keep my temp down, here in So. Florida traffic.
  8. Also www.hondadirectline.com has a 5% price guarentee on any OEM Honda part, plus free shipping. Just shop your best prices and then call them last and save another 5%.
  9. Here is the Euro Single Sided Swingarm for Sale. Almost the cost of a new Bird  Nice pictures tho ! http://www.ram.mc/HONDA/cbr1100xx.html
  10. J&M Electronics installed myself in an X-Eleven Speakers mounted along with Microphone for the cell phone.

    Polishing.

The ideal solution would be to Clear coat everything especially the swingarm after it is polished out.
  13. All Euro Bikes are tested annually and the certification has to be displayed on the bike a special holder that has to be mounted in a specific place and at the proper angle !!!!!!!! I don't think the exhaust is tested tho but could be wrong there. The cans have to be embossed with "Legal for Street Use" or some such engraving. There are very few aftermarket cans that are legal in Europe. But there is always a way around things !! The Dremel with the engraving attachment does wonders for aftermarket cans as long as the constable knows nothing about Bikes
  14. slight error I think ...... pc3 is for 02 and up pc2 for the 2001
  15. Probably for the same reason they did not put an adjustable shock on.
  16. I have one in my hand and the APC part number is 50.4129.B as printed on the upper left side of the package. On the lower left it says 1157 Amber They are called "Titanium" bulbs by APC www.4apc.net is on the back
  17. Gotta check the Credit Card statement or just call the credit card company and they will give you the number off the computer of theres.
  18. I use a canyon dancer also and I broke two rear traps at different times within a hour of each other while coming home from the Hoot last month. Bike never even leaned over to let me know it happened. I discovered it at the next Gas fillup.
  19. Just run out and pick up a cheap pair of 70's Platform Boots for riding. They will add 4-5" for the heigth challenged. Then install the spacer and enjoy the new feel of the Bike and look cool while doing it !!!!
  20. I really haven't had much call for the Vista Cruise so I have not listed it on the site. I can pick one up any week day on my way home from work at Honda Directline so I let them stock them for me. I send about 10 a month in one lump order to England for Jaws so I get a decent price on them. They are a hot seller over there. I am currently building a new Website called www.sk8extreme.com so I can get the Skate items off my Bike Bits site. The Xtreme Inline and skateboard market is very limited and I have a couple good connections there so expanding that direction also. Plus the Skaters love the "Ears". See the 03 X-Games nationally televised video on my Home page. Alot of work and time but once the Skate site is up and running then there will be a specialty section for the Blackbird in its place on www.BikeBits.us
  21. On the Frame use most any Polish. Avoid abrasives. But use Polish Not Wax to clean it up, then wax to maintain. On the metel (aluminun) you can use the Mothers metel polish. I use Sonny's metel polish that works well or "Da Bomb" metel polish also works well.
  22. I have the Vista Cruise available for $22.00 delivered
  23. If you are looking top solve a fog problem then pick up a Fog City Faceshield Insert. Works perfect for the life of the faceshield.
  24. I can't believe after 29 views that noone has a comment for the fearless SEXXT leader or his website.
