  1. As Rich said, Welcome to the club. Tracks and track speed is addicting. The XX is not a track toy, it's a fast sporty tourer. Now park the fat pig and get a SV650 or 600 and start really enjoying the tracks. I took mine on track ONCE and never again. I ground down the side cases, pegs, mid pipe and that was after suspension work.
  2. I ordered the Meuller for the HK. It should work great. The EO was going on the AR and I was going to put my current Aimpoint on the HK. But this should be fine for what I want it for and save me a few bucks. Thanks guys!
  3. I am shooting in a competion in a few weeks and limited to shooting a 22 rifle for the rifle comp. I have a HK416/22 and want to add a EOTech 517/552 type sight to it. I figured I would check here as well as some shooting forums that I am on before paying retail. I have an Aimpoint that I can throw onto it but it is already sighted in for my AR and don't want to mess with it unless I have to . Anybody have one gathering dust?
  4. I've spent a few sessions on it as well and it is a steal at that price! Good luck Rickster.
  5. Thanks guys, it seems like I get more calls for master baths than anything else.People do like their private places! We do about 3 bathrooms for each kitchen we do. I enjoy the creative aspects of building someones dream room in their home. It's pretty rewarding when I read the reviews I get on google and angie's list. It's been a busy week for me, we just finished 2 jobs and signed 2 more remodels and a large 450 unit apt complex keeps adding things to my list.
  6. We had custom glass installed around this one a few weeks back. Turned out beautiful. We also did 2 smaller bathrooms and a kitchen in this house.
  7. Here is a few of the bathrooms I have done over the last few months.
  8. The rock came on 12x12 sheets from Lowes. I cut the width I wanted and used the border of the rock to apply 1" blue painters tape to the wall for a border. Mixed the grout, put some rubber gloves on and started applying handfuls of grout to the rocks. I pulled the grout down with my hands, waited about 20 min and wiped off with a sponge. After about 45 min I pulled the tape off and had my outside edge with a nice and clean look. Glad you all like it. It is something different that the clients wanted and they told me to do it anyway I wanted. Needless to say, they are very happy with the results.
  9. The couple wanted to bring the outdoors into their bathroom with river rock and slate. The addition of the plant stand and skylight was the little bonus for them.
  10. Gutted and rebuilt with a tube skylite added over the shower.
  11. Bump for a sexy Italian bitch. Damn Vern that didn't take long. I figured you would keep this one for all the twisty roads you have to ride on. If I had someplace to stretch it's legs, I would be all over this.
  12. Climbing will make you realize just how out of shape you are. I spent 6 yrs in my mid 20s/ early 30's climbing a lot. Some weeks it was 3-4 days/eveings a week. Free climb some easier walls 5/7-8s up to 40-50' and on belay on anything bigger, with my biggest wall at 160'. A 5/9-10 will get your heart pumping if it's very tall at all and you better be in damn good shape!
  13. Correct. This being an SP2 2002+ vs an SP1 2000-2001 it is a much better bike than the original version SP1. Bigger and better in a whooooooole lot of ways. Great deal for anyone wanting a cult classic.
  14. Where do you live, the moon? Well I am not into riding the city streets with no lane splitting, just to ride! Coming from Nor Cal where it is widely considered sport bike mecca. I had thousands of miles of twisties within a couple of hours of my house and a half dozen excellent tracks such as Laguna, Infineon, THill, Buttonwillow, Willow Springs, ect, ect, ect. Virginia Beach is about as far as the moon by comparison, thus the increased scuba time and no bikes.
  15. Damn nice bike. I miss mine but with NO roads to ride here, it makes no sense for me to own a bike.
  16. Not an electrical contractor but do have a pretty nifty tool box to fix TVs with. Don't shock yourself! 220 hurts.
  17. Sorry to hear you have to sell it Brad. It is the sexiest bike ever made. He doesn't, he falls over when he stops!............................. No shit!!
  18. BST's will make a believer out of you and your thoughts on rotating mass.
  19. I agree, the front looks good and a pound or two difference will clean up the rear. Good to hear you are tracking the bird. They are always fun to line up next to trackbikes and have everyone looking at it, asking WTF is that! Then you blow by them on the straights.
  20. Short legs, easy fix!. Your welcome Joe and congrats on the sale.
  21. You are welcome to drive down anytime you like. The beach is 10 minutes from here, the bikinis are running rampant down at the ocean front and the beer is always cold. I replaced my 97 with my Dad's old 99.
  22. Hellova good price! I just sold my 97 this weekend.
