  1. Well, yesterday I designed this stuff... ...and the workshop that realized the braking plates is available to build it. Do you thing it could be better to foresee it adjustable?
  2. I LOVE YOU !!! :icon_dance: :icon_lol:
  3. Does anyone of You know something similar? I would like to install it on my forks but it seems that ther's not anything suitable for Bird, in Europe. I could create one from an Ergal block, but if there's something in American market I should save time and (maybe) money...
  4. You're right, but seems that a bolt-on solution does not still exist . The CBR600F forks are bolt-on regarding steel plates and wheel axle; the problem is about disks diameter, else it should be a fantastic solution
  5. Here I am with my modification at braking system. It is all started by a present received by a friend of mine... Of course, it is impossible to install this kind of calipers onto stock forks, so I decided to replace'em with a couple of CBR600F unit (opportunely revised...) Work in porgress... original braking system, at its right place (out of the bike ) Replaced also the pump with the one installed onto my old CBR929... And the final result is... General view Front fender comes from an Aprilia RS125; the right ones is coming by express courier (praying for a soon expedition :icon_pray: ) and this is the view of cockpit; over the seat I cannot see the first 3000 RPM of the clock, but this is not a problem And... how does it work? :icon_think: Fine, really fine: the braking power is a load more than the original and the feeling at lever is extraordinary; simply skimming over the lever I can get an immediate and strong response, maybe TOO MUCH strong, if I exaggerate :icon_think: And finally, I can exclude the rear brake (I've been running for ten years in circuit: it is difficult for me think to use the rear one) and have all the control in my right hand ! Yes, I am satisfied
  6. Oh My God !!! :icon_duh: :icon_nono: Really inconceivable; buy an X11, in this case No no no, I'm a "2 pieces" bar lover (also for naked bikes).
  7. Theoretically it is, but the increasing percentage is really scarce; the PAIR system subctratcs a little bit of fresh air from the airbox (and so, from the engine breathing stock). Without PAIR, this (little, of course) air amount is available for breathing, and so, for performance. Is it? You know, the contribution is poor, but with cents you can build a treasure
  8. I'm not involved in races, so my PAIR valves cover plates are in progress (by a AVIONAL 2024 plate) Another nice news coming soon
  9. Thank you very much, R !! Next Monday I'll run on Magione circuit (central Italy). I will put my report nex day
  10. R1000, I'm going to test my Bird on track too (next Monday). Could you please give me any kind of suggestion? Tyres pressure, brake pads... boh... eveything that coudl be useful. Thanks a lot
  11. I found out that screen, but PowerBronze answerd me telling that they DO NOT produce windscreen for Bird. Regarding ultraviolet threat... thanks for your advice !! It's a very useful suggestion !! BTW, the problem still exist: I want a original shape windscreen. I don't bear with my double-bobble anymore
  12. So cool !!! But... they seem to have only a double-bobble windscreen type... Am I being wrong?
  13. Hi !! I'm trying to get an iridium screen for my '00 XX; at now I have a double bobble unit on it, but I don't like it so much (the original one were lost by the previous owner); I'm looking for a stock shape/size unit, but it seeems that there's not anything similar, here in Italy (except the original Honda spare part, obviously)... (XX isn't a such success, in my place... ). Do any of you know something such similar in USA? I tought at PowerBronze, but they told me that nothing is foreseen for Blackbird... Thank you all (please apologize for my english... )
  14. This thursday (july the 19th) I'm gonna try my XX on Mugello circuit I'm fitting D208RR. Does someone of you know the correct pressure? The temperature will be high (33-35°C = 95°F) Thanx
  15. On my XX... 2.5bar (36.2psi) front and 2.7bar (39psi) on rear. I fit Dunlop D208RR (great tires )
