  1. had these loaded earlier, pretty nice lighting storm moved in and I shut everything down for a bit.
  2. Yeah its the same color. I know the strap and im pretty sure the mid bag is still around. It might take some time before I come across it, but when I do I will add it. I hauled a truck and trailer away to start going through and selling and it wasnt 10% of what he had stashed about the house. Ill take photos of the bag and its components for you so you can see exactly what I have currently. Its a sweet bag even as is. Taking my son fishing right now, but will snap these for you when we get back.
  3. I was sitting out in the garage looking at this bag and how nice it was, and that I would never use it. unsure of the liter size. Its large and expands into a taller bag. Heavy zipper, rain cover, removeable front pocket. dual rainproof map bags. converts into backpack. If your a long distance rider it would be a good bag. I am currently missing a couple pieces. a front strap, and im thinking there is a expansion bag that should go with it. If I ever stumble upon it I will include it. It is magnetic. http://www.bikesax.com/Merchant2/merchant....Product_Count=5 This is the bag, if anyone wants it, ill try and make them a good deal. Its in very good condition, Shows light use at best, but has been used. I can take photos of it and send out if anyone wants to see it. I thought about keeping it, but just would not use it. Im also loaded down with things to sell from my buddies collection that had the fatal accident. (this was not in the accident) Would just like to see it go to someone who would use it versus me hanging it with my other bags on the side of the toolbox. Thought someone off here would have more use of it that the street fighter forums I frequent.
  4. I crashed mine early last year. When my stator went bad I went ahead and repaired the cover. JB weld is all I used. I mixed it up filled in all the scrapes and let it harden. Took a dremel and sanded it down to normal and then painted it with an engine heat paint. I could have done a little better job on the paint prep around the bolt holes. Other than that at a glance its OEM. http://cycletherapy.com/ here is a salvage store. They make pretty good OEM replacment stators. Might find a stator cover or other parts as you need them.
  5. Thats a great price on the suit. You may want to put it on ADVrider.com I bet it will be gone at the original asking price in less than 24 hours.
  6. Well ok I ended up with an RMstator. Which was just as bad as the one I removed new. As a matter of fact It never made it to mounting onto the bike. Sent it back under warranty 2 weeks ago and nothing. I tried calling again and no answer or response. Had to contact by email last time too because they dont answer the damn phone. I paid using paypal so ive had to revert to logging a disput, which IMO is a sad sad way to get a company to respond. I going after a 100% refund now and am tired of dealing with them. Have a new stator ordered now from a small company from Ohio, will let you know how that works out.
  7. Thanks, I ordered one direct from ricks already. Im a little worried it wont last though. I did a search and read almost as much bad as I did people ordering, but I guess I have to assume that some of them worked because I didnt see a follow up later complaining about it.
  8. 954's 929 doesnt take the same thing. The 2 years they made it and not long enough to create a good solid aftermarket apparently. Other than exhaust and few things. Its kinda a PITA to find good quality parts for it. Not too big on buying a used stator that apparently has electronic issues late in life.
  9. My stator went out on the 929. No biggie, until I started reading different threads on buying aftermarket models. I have already ordered one, just curious if anyone. Which I know there are members here that have used aftermarket. The aftermarket model RMstator or Electorsport being the common 2. Did it work and if so for how long. They came with a 1 year warranty, and OEM seems to be the cure for recession according to the price tag?
