I'm speeding towards 50 with no brakes. I used to ride anything but these days take what I can get 😉 I'm also coming back after a couple of years off due to medical (heart) and balance issues. Daily ride atm is the Harley Nightster, whilst the VFR and KLR are also ready to go. The FE450 hasn't been started for maybe 2 years and the CBR1100 even longer (Eeek!). We live in a full-on tropical environment with wet season Vs dry season. The non-running bikes have been stored under the eaves of a house under bike covers which is a recipe for plenty of corrosion, perished rubber and siezed bits.

I want to get my hands dirty and these machines back on the road. The VFR and KLR will most likely be sold soon, the FE can also go as it is a bit hard edged for me these days (might replace it with a smaller softer trail bike). That leaves me the olf Blackbird as a project. Its worhless in it's current state so I might as well give it a go. I'lll definately need lots of help as I am no mechanic but will do most of the work myself - with assistance from this forum  🙂.
