1984 BMW RT 100 The front twin calipers lock up, it takes time so it's a gradual thing. When they do lock the only way to move the bike is to open both bleeds. When I do that it's good for a few times using the brake, then it locks again. Where is the problem?

Nearest shop to me is 60 miles, but I've been changing tires since 1972. Can't balance a beemer rear without a wheel specific adapter, use beads. Handiest bars I have are the BeadPro by MotionPro. I've changed auto tires using those. https://www.motionpro.com/product/08-0536

On another side note, waaaay back, 1974 or so, One of the other mechanics was working on a Honda 350 trying to get it to start. He had replaced a few parts to no avail and asked me to look at it. I hit the start button and told him that the battery was connected backward. He said no, I checked that. I convinced him a new battery would fix it, it did. Apparently the owner had the battery go dead flat and charged it with reversed polarity. It was spinning the starter backward.

I have a friend here that immigrated from Greece, with a fraction of what he had. Actually he came with the dollars he had stashed because the banks froze all accounts. The Greek financial crisis if anyone recalls. He has been warning me that it is beginning to look the same here. So buying things makes some sense.

Or braid loops on each end. Even better if you slip a swage on first and crimp the end of the loop

Honda BMW shop 1973 useful tip - no pun intended. The air device shown was also use with the rubber tip removed - insert short phillips screw, point it in a "safe" direction and strike the operating handle smartly and it will send projectile with enough velocity to penetrate a hollow core door.
