  1. Im more than likely do the Muzzy's that SGT ski posted and ill have money left over for the PC3... if there still available next monday.. if not, ill probably go with the Jardine on on ebay for $450 shipped... I like the blueflames ALOT.. but if i can get some good quality slip-ons AND have enough left over for a PC3.. i GOTTA take it.. that Muzzy deal is a great price.. PLEASE post pics when you get them Sgt ski.
  2. didnt think about that... hmm... has to be able to be done somehow... maybe a different wheel all together? if a differrent swingarm is required so be it... now you got me thinking... hmmm...
  3. I know the stock XX rear wheel is 5.5"... i was thinking of sending it off and getting it widened an inch, maybe 1.5" Has anyone ever done this? I want a wider rear tire, but still want it to turn fairly well and really dont like the extended swingarm look.. any idea what the maximum tire width would be with the stock swingarm? im sure i couldnt probably take it past a 200 - 210 rear without a different swingarm, but i just spent a good little while polishing the stock piece and would like to use it if at all possible... just an idea... i know these guys will widen the stock wheel... http://www.kosman.net/
  4. great buy there... any pics??? i really dont want titanium... but for that price... i like the yoshimura's alot... my favorite look by far. cheapest ive found is $500 shipped for the slip-ons... thanks for the reply's... keep em coming.
  5. 2000 XX... titanium. Im kinda torn between the full system and the slip-ons, and money IS an issue.. i have about $750 max to spend. Right now the bird is stock, minus a K&N filter... the frame, swingarm, wheels, rearsets, etc is all highly polished... so i want a system that is proably stainless because i want to keep the polished/chrome theme with the bike.. i dont want carbon fiber or a dull titanium.. i like alittle bling i cant swing a power commander right now... so if i do the full system, it will probably be running on the stock map for awhile (I dont know if thats OK or not). I do like the Look of the dual exhaust better... Future plans/dreams for the bike is take it to Bonneville or have it timed top speed from the ECA at maxon... right now, Indysuperbikes.com has the Yoshimura RS-3 full exhaust for $628... and the scorpion slip-ons for $519... havent found them cheaper anywhere else. the yoshimura slip-ons look real good too... looking for all reccommendations within my price range... if you have a Picture of your exhaust id really like to see it as well, the pictures on the manufacturers websites arent all that great... Im KINDA leaning towards slips-ons.. (Ease of install, no power commander required, like the dual exhaust look) id really like to see a pic of the scorpion slip-ons. On ebay, you can get a new set of Jardine slip-ons for $450 shipped.. which is way below budget... and would actually leave me enough for the PCIII.. but hows the quality on Jardine? never heard of them... thanks! thanks for the help in advance folks.
  6. And your point is? just bustin your balls guy...
  7. Im bumping this... Bought some GSXR race body work from them today and 35 mins after i ordered it i had a shipment notification email and Chad the sales guy was very very helpful (Seems my bank didnt update my mailing address).. will do buisness again :icon_clap: :icon_clap: :icon_clap:
  8. yea.. they are to a degree.. i have thin rubber boots that i slide over them if going long distances that helps comfort and temp.. i have big hands anyway...
  9. as promised... also took and make spears into the stock levers and polished those...
  10. yea, your right, i stare at the controls the whole time im riding... i meant when the bike is parked dumbass.... and its gay to make shit look better/cleaner than it came from the factory? ok.. It actually took me longer than i thought because i couldnt figure out what i wanted to do with it.. probably took about three hours from start to finish, (with dinner in between) thanks.... the clip-ons are already polished, as are the grips and bar-ends. the triple tree was pretty easy to get off minus the two allen bolts holding the ignition to the tree that were hard to get out. something you could do in about 25 mins probably.
  11. yea i was thinking i would get that... its the wifes makeup bag...
  12. Nobody sells (To my knowledge) anything other than the stock top triple tree. kinda wanted something different... i spend alot of time looking at it, its kinda like a focal point to alot of stuff.. Im not overally concerned with the Glare from the sun... (ill know soon if its bad or not).. went ahead and polished it, smoothed all the lines (Top and bottom) and rounded the corners. the line on the top of the second pic is actually the roof line in the house at the top. the little plastic honda emblem i painted flat black, and filled in the wings with red.. also polished the center bolt... ill add a few pics tommarow when its on the bike. I thought about actually cutting an XX into the left side or.. something.. maybe making a maltese cross and molding it onto triple tree... or maybe im just too anal and should just leave it the hell alone...
