]I was board this winter and this is what I ended up with.Painted the wings and wheels, the rest is decals also molded in a Escort 8500 X 50 into the upper faring under the headlamp and installed the optional hard wire smart cord behind windscreen.

After changing mine to a K&N, I was not impressed with the fit and as for performance no difference. I would say stick with the O.E.

It said in my manual 20 ft lbs or 20N it says in the manual to replace them because threy come from the factory with their own loc tite apllied to them.I am sure if you use the red you will be fine.by the way I looked up the cost for new bolts $2.60 ea.x 12 $31.20 ouch. Sorry meant to say 14 ft lbs , my bad

No I haven’t Seen J Bowen’s Bike But I know what he meant and I was just joking around. The real reason I wanted some feedback is I really am not sure if I like it and wanted some input on ideas to make it look better like Painting wheels or outlining the wings in a different color or some other ideas.

It is the switch not the motor. The switch has internal resistors to regulate power to the motor.

Light metallics especially silver are imposable to touch and match; it is to do with the flake when it is sprayed silver can be lighter or darker depending on air pressure to the spray gun, so just dobbing on some paint on a scratch just won’t cut it. Sorry for the bad news.
