  1. Damn arrogant mechanics ! I don't know what their problem is...I love it when people come into my business and tell me how I am doing it wrong and their ideas, terms, scheduling and timelines are so much better than mine. I also love to let them dictate the price, because you know, "the customer is always right " !!!
  2. Of course they do. 🤣
  3. …or .maybe you should have left it alone in the first place, but appreciate your efforts so we can all enjoy the journey!
  4. The issue is that most circuit breakers are labled at their free air rating or handle rating. The moment you put the in an enclosure or any type NEC requires a 20% defraying due to ambient heat. Hence the 20% derating Wire is tested and labeled at it’s 90 degree C rating, but NEC requires that it be sized ,for load purposes, at it’s 70 degree C rating
  5. Really??? We are talking Zero here…bahahahahahahaha….he was probably using a Chinese sourced and garage sale purchased impact gun on the bleeder.
  6. You are doing it all wrong!!!! This is the ultimate solution. No way you could screw this up🤣. Elegant and cheap. Perfect for you,
  7. And when you buy ultra cheap, shitty straps and wrap, twist and kink them around hard metal parts they never work “fine”. Go look at Mac’s Tie Downs. Some of the best straps money can buy. They even have a monthly Tie Down Fail email, so you will have new and exciting ways to screw up your future tows. Or send them a pic of your most recent debacle and maybe you will make their wall of shame Good Grief
  8. Agreed. Two straps either via a Canyon Dancer or soft looks to the bottom Triple. Bonus points for the Uhaul Trailer. Those the best and most cost effective solution for motorcycle trailering. Low, light and the nose bump with great tie down locations. I have my own ramp trailer with bolt in chock set up.....but still prefer the Uhaul.
  9. These are great bikes that ride and handle very well. They take just a little to get use to as the torques does tend to want the lean the bike over at slower RPMs. They are ultra-stable at speed and dragging pegs can be accomplished pretty confidently. These handle way better than they have a right to. You can embarrass/surprise a lot of riders on "better" bikes fairly easily. The size disappears quickly with speed. High speed highway miles and these go well together. I loved my 2011 and love my new 2022 even more. Windscreen matching is probably the biggest issue. Even with the adjustable screen, the fit for each individual can be a bit finicky Followed by seat comfort....both have extensive aftermarket options.... . They are bullet proof in this vintage. If you buy one, get the GS911 from Hexcode that allows you to access all the setting to make changes and service rests easily. Service items are easy and readily accessible.
  10. Rubber is porous enough to hold surface moisture. Think Armor-All on tires, radiator hoses and fuel hoses.
  11. I bought these back in 2020 to install on the 2002 XX I sold earlier this year. Just found these in the garage. I bought them off of Ebay and had them shipped from the UK. They were listed as new and appear to be as such. No tool marks, etc. These are the updated version with the hex removeable cap, not the old style press on cap. Looking for $ 100,00 Shipped in the CONUS.
  12. Floating rotors are supposed to move.
  13. Low tone. The Aerostich website has sound clips of both.
  14. Stock location. Stock bracket. Stock wiring. No relay. and yes on both birds.
  15. This...have used it on multiple bikes with no rewiring or relays. Bolts right in to OEM location and OEM connectors. and available on AMAZON:
  16. They are very nice. I wish they were maybe half a size larger.
  17. I bought these a couple of years ago. Wore them once. Too small for me, I usually wear a size 10, but these were a deal. Bad for me. Hopefully good for someone else. These have the little thingie in each index finger such that you can operate touch screens. That feature works well! Perfect condition. $50.00 + shipping. (From 95762) New, these are $219.00
  18. I had a similar issue after the purchase of my 2002 from a little independent dealer that did a full fluid flush prior to sale…..incorrectly. The Service Manual defines a very specific process and sequence for bleeding the brakes. I followed the procedure step by step and the issue was resolved.
