Part # 88115-MAT-000ZN, referred to as COVER, R. *NH463M* Unopened in the factory packaging. $27 sold and shipped. 2. Stock seat from a 2003. Mint condition. Rode on it for about a year before I replaced it with an aftermarket saddle. I regularly treated it with Formula 303, so it is not faded, weathered, etc. $70 sold and shipped.
  2. For Sale: 1 pair Vanson Technical Rider Sport Pants, size 36. These are Vanson's top-of-the-line sport riding pants. They have never been down nor ridden in the rain. There are no rips, stains, loose zippers, or odors. They are in excellent used condition. Includes back and side attachment panels to attach to Vanson Jackets. I have installed Vanson's GP hard plastic knee and shin protectors, as well as the leather velcro field covers. Leather expansion panels above the knee and at the back waist also aid mobility. These pants feature the brand new 3 part jacket/pant attachment system. Padded lower back support Fully removable Athletic mesh liner VELCRO® brand fastener for race pucks. 3. For Sale: 2 XX brake pedals. Both are used and show a little rash on the tip. Both are straight except for the modified one, which has been bent and filled in (welded) on the top side for strength; it moves the pedal downward for those with Dave's peg lowering brackets. I found this to help significantly on my bike. This is a different pedal, but you get the idea: The stock one is $27 shipped. The modified one is $50 shipped. Payment by paypal only. PM me with questions.
  4. It has been down on the right side in a parking lot at less than 3 mph. I painted the right lower cowl with factory match paint, it looks worse in the pic than in person (you have to be less than 6 inches away to see it - no tabs missing or cracks from the dtop). The only other evidence is a mark on the right side bag, where I did the same thing. I have added a lot more pics to the original post.
  5. Sold Email me with any questions you have on this. I am not open to trades at this time. I'd thought I'd give those on the forum first dibs; it will go to craigslist after a few weeks. I am in the Seattle area. For Sale: 1 2003 Honda CBR1100XX. I am the second owner, and it has just under 9,700 miles on it. I have the clear title in hand. It has always been garaged, and has not been ridden in the rain. Clutch and brake fluids are clear. Oil changes and chain lubes performed at proper intervals or sooner. The battery is always attached to a battery tender when garaged. I have added Sta-bil to the tank before every winter storage. It also gets a regular dose of Seafoam to keep the fuel system in top shape. The engine and exhaust are 100% stock. It currently wears a Pirelli Diablo front and a Diablo Strada rear. Tires each have ~ 5000 miles on them. They are in good shape and are not cupped. Coolant has been changed to NPG+ by Evans Cooling. While some mods have been done to this XX, nothing that has been done is not easily reversible. Included are the parts needed to return it to stock. Aftermarket items: Rick Mayer custom saddle. Europe-only Honda OEM panniers. LED turn signals, front and rear, with DOT-approved electronic flash relay. MRA Vario adjustable windscreen. Custom Peg Lowering Brackets (w/ modified brake pedal - stock pedal included. Gen Mar Bar Risers. Kaoko Throttle Lock. BMW touring grips. 6mm rear shock shim. (I have modified the sidestand to compensate for the additional height in the rear. A stock sidestand is also included.) Custom radiator grill protector. Lockhart Phillips tank bra (also has 3M protective film underneath).
  6. It's that time again, but this time I'm going to save a little dough. Think I'll win these two auctions and git 'r' done. Chain Sprocket
  7. For Sale: 1 upper cowl stay from an '03 BB. I had a right side parking lot drop over a year ago and just got around to installing the new one. While it is not straight, it is not off by a lot. It is noticeable when observing the dash while moving; it appears to "yaw" slightly like a plane in a crosswind. I am guessing there is someone here who could straighten and use this. No longer for sale here, off to the Bay!
  8. Linear DTD opener with a low profile heat-shrink-sealed remote pushbutton. I secured this under my seat and zip tied the button to the support bar on my hard bags. Works like a charm. Sold my condo, don't need the opener anymore. Open your garage door without having to stop and fumble with the opener. Battery included. $15 shipped. PM me with questions.
  9. For Sale: 1 pair Adidas Monaco GP race-inspired shoes. Goodyear rubber, GP tread pattern. Men's size 7 1/2 US. Too small for my son. Like new, worn twice? $25 shipped, paypal or USPS money order. PM me with questions. First "I'll take it" posted gets 'em.
  10. Got a bad o ring on my chain. Still on the stock RK 50 LFO-Z1 chain (8k miles). It has been superceded by the RK 530 LFO. Looking for an extra link to fix it. Anyone have a spare link for this chain?
  11. Thanks for the reply. I'll mark that pin and watch it.
  12. I was cleaning my chain today and noticed a broken o-ring. Just hit 8k miles TODAY. I have been using the motorex cleaner and lube every 200 miles religiously. It's the factory DID chain on a 2005 import '03. I do not use any brushes to clean it, just rags. Is is time for a new chain already?
  13. I recently changed out my coolant to Evans NPG+. I don't have a lot of miles on my bird, but I noticed how my radiator had some damaged fins. I had read Warchild's radiator guard fab and install, and decided this would be the perfect time to install it. A little history first, though. I had tried once before to install the guard but realized there were differences between his write up and the 03 I have. Following his recommendation of 16 3/4" of mesh opening turned out to be much too wide. As I was living in a condo and doing the work ninja-style in a communal garage, I scratched that project off the list. Fast forward to the present. I'm in a house with a garage and all my tools. I measured the radiator and came up with a total width of 15 1/4" for the guard. Knowing this I followed his guide and made one up. After paint and a really easily fabricated mount, I'm good to go. It was really thoughtful of Honda to put a mounting location right at the base of the radiator. It clears the inside of the bodywork by less than 1/4" on each side; a little narrower overall wouldn't hurt. Thanks to Warchild for the write up. It's here: http://www.superblackbird.com/RadGuardMod.cfm Finished product:
