  1. 2008 Kawasaki Teryx 750 LE - $6500 Side by Side. Red. Carb model. 492 miles. 100 hours. Adult owned. Clear title. 4x4 with High & Low Tranny CVT. V-Twin 750cc engine. Liquid cooled 4 Stroke. Used for utility duty on a small horse farm. Low gear use. Never been mudding or trail riding. Totally standard and reliable. Stored indoors on battery tender. Regularly cleaned. Very good condition. There are some scuffs along the sides of the bed from hauling hay bales, chopped wood and feed bags around.
  2. Thought I had a nibble on craigslist, replied, and then got a long winded second reply about dude being abroad, wanting to use paypal, and all that bs. :icon_nono:
  3. 8069 commuter miles. Mature owner. 645cc v-twin. Dark blue. 50 mpg. Excellent condition. First to see will buy. New Michelin Pilot tires. Adjustable rear ride height. Bar end mirrors. Sargent seats. MRA commuter screen. Cortech saddle bags. Crash protectors on frame and swingarm. New oil and filter. Tank of gas. Cover. Small scuffs on bottom of fork leg and exhaust from previously owner losing his balance while stationary and tipping over. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/2923046771.html I've got some bills to pay so I need to out my fun bike.
  4. My '02 Silverbird is for sale. Bought two years ago off site member mack82097. I've done just 800 miles in those two years making a grand total mileage of just 5700 miles. Yes, you read that correctly. Never dropped, crashed, thrashed, etc. Completely standard motor. Regular oil changes. Comes with all keys, toolkit, my receipts, manual, service manual on CD. Extras: Braided brake and clutch hoses. Clear rear lenses. Bar risers. VFR bars (not fitted). Tank bra. SW Motek rack. Givi box. Marks (pictured) : I'm trying to be as thorough as possible. Some wouldn't even bother documenting such small items but when I say it's an extremely clean bike, I want you to believe me. Small scuffs on mirrors and pipes, probably from the previous owner brushing a wall when putting away. Small scratches in the titanium paint fade on the screen, behind the clocks. Small paint chip and paint lifting slightly next to right luggage hook. Small paint chip on grab rail. Probably from when it was stored when the Motek rack and Givi box are installed. Two small holes under rear cowl near light where previous owner tried to install an eliminater. Plenty more high resolution pictures available. Send me a message if you're interested. It's not advertized anywhere else as should only go to a true Blackbird fan. You won't be disappointed. Priced to sell at $5500.
  5. Ok, so how did it get in there? My guess is he's testing the pressure, the tyre is over-inflated and the surge in air blows the tester out of his hand. It richocets off the chain guard, fender, shock and gets lodged in next to the sprocket. Either that or he was using it to clean chain lube gloop from around the sprocket cover.
  6. Has anyone tried matching a sticky front with a longer-life back, eg Pilot Sport on the front, Pilot Road on the back? I'm guessing this combination won't work as you guys say the profile is lots different but I remember this is how I used to run Michelins on other bikes. I always run a sticky front which normally lasts as long as a longer-life back so I can change them as a pair. Still got the original Dunlops on my 02 Bird so starting to think about what to replace them with.
  7. Thankfully they're a dry clutch. Aren't they?
  8. People who think they're going 190mph because their clocks tell them so are hilarious. Go to www.200mph.org and ask them. These guys hire the 2.2 mile runway at RAF Woodbridge in the UK, set up some timing equipment and speed traps and then go flat out all weekend. It's a ball! There are plenty of slammed, class 2, nos Busas that don't get 200mph with over 250bhp on tap. At those speeds, it's aeros and environmental conditions that have the biggest impact. Of course it helps if you only weight 150lbs. Of course some of the big players, like the Flying Dutchman from Holland, are making the numebrs. He hit 240 on his turbo Busa back at the start of June.
