  1. Hello All! Attached are the pictures of my 2003 CBR1100XX. There are 5100 miles on it and it is in VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT condition, however, it was knocked over onto it's right side in a parking lot when it was parked overnight (the only night I choose to leave it out...go figure) by a 75 year-old lady. Made me cry....well I felt like it anyways. The only damage is on the right lower fairing (not as bad as I thought), so please see the pics for reference. I am not the original owner, but I purchased this bike 5 years ago when the bike had 2500 mi. on a trade and have changed the oil every 1000 miles and cleaned the chain every 500 miles. Since the bike has been with me, it has never seen rain. Tires have 90% tread left. The bike is bone stock except for a SW-MOTECH toprack adapter (shown in picture) and a cheapo generic JC-Whitney top case. I am asking $5500 OBO. Please PM me for more pictures or information. Thanks for looking!
  2. It is like a quick clicking noise? I have an '03 with 3000mi on it and it's been driving me crazy! I was also thinking about my CCT but i checked it yesterday, it had TWO dots on it, BUT it wasn't black. Anyone have any ideas where this noise is coming from or if my CCT is the updated one? (compared to John's)
  3. Yes, the idle speed is set up at that range. I will check the battery output! Thanks guys for all your input!
  4. Well today was a beautiful day in Lafayette, IN (we dont' get those too often) and I decided to take my XX out on the road. Unfortunately, the traffic was high around this time due to the mid-day lunch rush and i spent a lot of time "city driving" stop and go's. I noticed my temps reaching 225ish and i remember that these birds do get hot so i didn't really think much of it. I took a lunch stop, and when i tried to start up the bike again, it acted as though the battery is half dead. The FI seemed strong and all the lights were on fully, but the relay kept clicking. I have been riding the bike on and off for the past month without any problems with start up. Wouldn' t the batt be up to charge by now from winter storage? My question is if this has to do with overheating or some sort of vapor lock (i'm just shooting in the dark), or if i really do have a half dead battery. The bike will only restart (while being jumped started) after i reset the electrical system (disconnected the leads from the batt). HELP! ANyone else experienced this? Stan....
