  1. i saw an ad in some recent issue of 'cycle world' where ken stotz, a dragger, had some crazy setup...............yeah just looked in the mag...,,,.,....it's a hyperpro steering damper ad. 550 hp on a red XX
  2. Why is it so hard to just make that damn thing work right?? you know with all the other things that have to be 'precision' you'd think the speedo on these bikes, or anything else, would be spot on, ,,,,, aside from aftermarket tinkering.
  3. hey man what about bringing them out of the screw holes on the lower cowl.....wouldn't that be strong enough, easy to get to to fix any problems???
  4. yeah i had that problem too, i found as long as i was able to move my fingers while riding the wouldn't go numb. SO i bought a Throttlemeister, man it's great, i mean not in traffic but out on the highway it's real nice http://www.throttlemeister.com/tm.html check it out
  5. hey yeah, that's kinda cool......haven't seen any other bikes with pipes like that.......you know they're all pretty standard.......on the sides/single.....but, over/under yeah that's cool
  6. yeah, on my previous car (BMW 535is) i awlays used the purolator.......but after reading some of the posts around here there's been much said about the paper on some getting sucked out, not filtering correctly, etc. A lot of bad press about the FRAM ones in paticular. All news to me. ...........I mean damn, how much suction is there on these bikes??? right now i got one of the K&N oil filters on it, probably cause the salesman was taliking so much about it, and I hadn't stumbled onto this forum yet..................I'll give the puro' a shot, i got about another 800 miles before the next oil change but.......uh, yeah!!
  7. damn i should have figured that out
  8. ok fair enough,...... but what does " FWIW" mean??
  9. hey, check this out: http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Scotts...-SCOTTS-54.html -good idea????
  10. yeah they're priced right........do they rub the body at all?? fitment issues?
  11. yo!! come on with the raggin' on the loud pipe thing......it's just an interjection
  12. well look, tell me does it really make a difference going to a single aftermarket can as opossed to keeping the twin.........one part of me really likes the single because of the way it would be so much easier to clean around the wheel, but is there any kind of performance/center stand sacrifice.
  13. you know i really like the look of the stock exhaust. but then 'loud pipes save lives'........how can I change the stock pipes to be louder/more effective?? anyone with tips or tricks
