I know...still a great bike. back on CL. asking $4300. rode the magna tonight. starting to get used to it, wouldn't say I'm 'there' yet, but it's growing on me. it REALLY needs a 6th gear. dang.

A buddy is building a Honda Hawk for the track and he is doing a front-end swap with a 929. He has a good lead on the forks (Fast Eddy), but needs everything else. I just wanted to see if anyone here has parts that they can vouch for as good (you know ebay). As stated, he needs front rim & spacers, rotors, calipers, controls/levers, clipons, upper and lower tripples, gauges. Thanks upfront!

a buddy of mine (admin on 1000rr) has recieved no less than 2 sets of ABS plastics in race replica desgn for his 1000rr.... as a COMP for test fitting them and providing feedback to the seller. He is now on the list to be the first to test-fit before going to production!! He had an issue with a tail-piece...seller sent a new one - for free. He got to keep the usable old one, but the seller wanted it to be right/better. He got a one-off production piece to try and he provided feedback again. He has been very satisfied with the ABS from China. They mismatched the RK chain sticker and NGK plugs...but, it's from China!? I say someone contact this guy and ask if they need a US model/tester? maybe at least for a discount? or a "race" version. Maybe someone already did it?

Thanks for all the work here, Toynut!! You deserve a free one after all this work...I know what you've put into this. I would like to add a thought for those interested in full/360-zippers. I added one to my FirstGear S-Pilot, it was a regular 360 (plastic tooth) attached to a stretchy fabric above the adj. waist part. So, if the stretchy part of the jacket might be in the way of a full-zip, the leather shop that did mine, just attached it to a 3" stretch fabric, then sewed it in. works awesome. She charged me $30 to do it. Might also work for a 8-10" zipper...provide a little flex when leaned over?
