  1. AND just to add more PROOF This one just popped just now. When I came back to the PUB, had about 3 items in the list, and this was at the top, AND i always read from the bottom. so #3.... great... #2 great... come back out #1 is no longer bolded... and check and see whats in there LOL see BELOW ahhh the mysteries If you feel like looking again... great... if NOT.... no biggie.. you got plenty to do My original goal was just to make sure you knew this in case it ever relates to other issues down the road. Also thanks for all these cool updates on what you are doing with buying and selling vehicles and other stuff. Learning stuff all the time.
  2. WELLLLL maybe there just ain't no fixin this.... must be me.. after all I am an Alien from another planet LOL My theory about not noticed ignores doesn't hold water Took this screen shot a few minutes before the creation of this message. Sure nuf, they had content from legit members that I had not seen yet. It only seems to affect that last 2-3 messages I had not read yet. For sure, not going to worry about it anymore, as you had already indicated, this one sounds like its not just going to jump out nice and easy AND in the grand scheme of things, not a huge deal.
  3. If it makes me happy, I can't be holding it wrong
  4. I may have solved my own NOT problem LOL I think the threads I had not yet read, actually had earlier posts from someone on my ignore list. IT just happened now, as I had one last thread that showed active to read, as I was reading the one just before it. When I came back out to the posting list, it showed already read, and not one for me to look at. Turns out the last new post was from Tomek, and on my ignore list. Bravo to you and the cleverness of the coding for this forum to be that clever. I NOW stand down from RED ALERT
  5. OK just did it.... i popped into your post about a minute after you sent it. i was looking at the post just before yours and both posts indicated as not being read yet. came back to pub, and your post was now all light text indicated it had been read and icon to jump to first unread was gone.
  6. Well tried from the top a few times, and of course that never happened But it drove me crazy since some threads get a lot of attention, so it's back and forth all over the place. Since I pop in once or twice a day, figured starting with the oldest made sense. AND, this does not happen all the time. Just randomly here and there. It could just be me. I am the King of having weird shit happening to me everywhere. After all I am an alien from another planet
  7. Carlos I have noticed this happening for a while and not sure if it's important or not. As we go through reading each post, I always start at the bottom with oldest post and work my way up. I have noticed that when I get close to the last few I have not read yet, they suddenly show as read and no longer have the nice icon that takes you to the last post read. Since it has happened often enough, when I get close to the last few, I take note where I am, so I don't forget to check them out. The only small hassle is that if it has been a good 24 hrs or so since my last visit, I am not quite sure where those threads left off, since the lovely indicator line is no longer there. NOT a huge issue, but just thought it deserved a heads up the Chief In Charge LOL And BTW, I and many other appreciate the open policy you maintain that allows some pretty wild discussions. For sure, nobody ever get bored here
  8. Interested, but how do I go about finding if I have the 800 or 1900 bands, LTE. I have AT&T. Also have a neighbor with Verizon. Never paid much attention to this sort of stuff before, but out here in farm land the carriers are making noise about maybe not taking as good care of us as before.
  9. Will do. Curious where this goes, as it was something I never considered before. News at 11
  10. Well... Ordered my test and just got it back from EverlyWell. Cost was $49... Came back at 32. As soon as I saw this earlier and right after I sent in the blood test, I started on 20,000 ui. So we shall see how another test turns out a few months from now. Thank for the heads up on the details on this. Looking forward to some improvement down the road.
  11. LOL Well decided it would be a great idea to get a baseline of my D before all of this starts. WOW, what a circus. The world told me to go to EverlyWell as the place to go for tests like this, and the cost was $50, free shipping. But, before I chose that route, figured I would check local Quest and LabCorp as they do offer walk-ins. Those wackos wanted close to $100 in one lab, and a hair cheaper in another. AND of course NO SHIPPING involved LOL GGGRRRRR
  12. Well, since my shipment will arrive Wednesday, I plan on following your recommendation of 20K, so 4 pills a day. Should that be 4 pills at a pop, or spread out into 2 sets etc... And does time of day matter. Normally I do any meds at breakfast. Inquiring minds need to know Thanks again for that feedback, and looking forward to hopefully some interesting results.
  13. Thanks for posting this. From the responses and others sharing valuable info, this is something that I appear to be missing. Zero shared that it was at Sams, and got an order shipping right now. Granted I would love it to provide better sleep pronto, but if this gets me on track down the road, this will be glorious.
  14. Wow that has to suck, I assume from your stats that you live in Kalifornia LOL Cannot believe they regulate that too. What got me to switch was trying to get chainsaws to run right. Now all gas cans have good old fashion gas, and it's in not only chainsaws, but garden tractor and any other handheld gas powered tools. Easy peasy start all the time. I am guessing race and aviation gas is likely way more expensive, if not, and the octane rating is compatible for small engines, you might want to give it a try. All I know is once WAWA came to town and I had access to this, life doing maintenance just got smoother and more relaxing not having to fight to start all these small damn picky little engines LOL
  15. Bummer... I just checked, and it appears WAWA seems to love the east coast. Not sure why, maybe its close to corporate. Yup... looked into the history and it started up in the northeast and they are just marching down the coast line until they got to us in Florida No plans to head west at the moment.
  16. If you happen to have a WAWA station around, they all carry Non ethanol gas I think the pump has a blue mark on it and the handle is blue as well. Only on a single island, that of course shares all of the other varieties. IF not looking for it, you would hardly notice the extra pump handle.
  17. Nope Already covered that above. When this first happened, tractor went into shop for a full look over Plus, it's brand new at least in tractor terms. 2018 bought NEW in 2019 and maybe got 300 hrs on it. IF and when this latest one dies, I know where to go next
  18. Thanks for those responses, looks like the next beast will be an AGM from Sams and then I can rest easy and not get stuck out in the middle of the field again WOOHOOO
  19. Just took a look at NAPA, looks like some decent choices and prices. Not familiar with the AGM batteries. Any opinions one way or the other? If this latest battery dies, I might make a beeline to NAPA. For reference, this last Diehard battery DIED in 2 months LOL I kid you not. Still need to check out the Wally/Sams as well, just in case.
  20. Thanks for the advice. Tractor is practically new, 2018 model bought in 2019, and since then, and in the middle of the first battery failure, it went into the shop for its first warranty check over since purchase and all systems checked out green as expected. I had just done the first battery swap a month or 2 before taking into shop and advised them of what happened so they made sure to check charging system more thoroughly. I have heard stories that the old original style batteries they make are from multiple suppliers, so just not sure if there is a quality control issue, and maybe that is why they offer the unconditional replacement for the first 2 years. Regardless, trust is gone, so if this 3rd replacement fails, I think Sams Club/Walmart seems like the next place for me.
  21. Thank you Thank you for this post You just solved a problem for me and provided the answer I needed. I have a John Deere tractor, and back about 2 years ago, the original battery died. I have always loved DieHard batteries, which used to come from Sears long ago. Now, a local Advance Auto parts store carries them, so got one. It didn't make it a year, but thankfully it came with an unlimited warranty for 2 years as long as I had the original receipt. I am NOW on my 3rd DieHard. The RUB was, every time I went in to have it replaced, the dweeb behind the counter tested it and says it's fine. I said, don't care. The warranty says, you need to replace no matter what, so they have done so. Now that I saw the above, I realize they were just doing a normal voltage check and NOT a load test. Fuckers.... GGGRRRRR Soon the warranty will expire and if this latest one dies like the others, I will likely move over to InterState, unless anyone here likes a better brand. Mystery solved WOOHOOO
  22. +1 on the APC back UPS pro 1300 series I have one of the newer models as well the 1375 and other older models all over the house and barn Been using this brand forever, after long enough time in service, I swapped out a new battery etc. But, recently, when a battery ( well over 10 years old) needed replacing, it wasn't that much more for the 1375 Depending on the model, the battery can be a bit pricey, and if the unit is old enough, it is worth getting a new one with better features. Best price I found locally was at Sams Club for $150
  23. That is quite the science experiment you got going there Had no idea all the that was in there, and the sensitivity of those battery packs Thanks for sharing some cool info
  24. DITTO did not use a smiley or anything, just 1 line of text and got 403 Forbidden error
