  1. That is why I said that I replaced mine with Motorcraft wires. Got them from Rock Auto in a couple of days.
  2. You don't state the year or motor size but I have a Ranger and was having problems that seemed like yours. It surged under load. Putting new Motorcraft plug wires on fixed it.
  3. Jetting the bike stock or other wise, takes the flat spot out at about 5-K. If you are not looking for more power or noise, maybe you should ride it a while then make the decision about the pipes. I'm not sure you will notice the difference in weight of the pipes.
  4. 97-98 is different from the other years.
  5. I would think that the most telling thing would be taking it for a test ride. Can you do that? Other than that, you just have to look over the bike to see of any signs of it being dropped. Look for any leaks or strange wear patterns on the tires and listen to the motor run.
  6. I have a adjustable one on my 97. It runs well and causes no harm. It surely worked on cars of the past. If yours is a 97-98, I say, go for it. If it is injected, go for the P.C. like Dean said.
  7. Did it run right before or did you just buy it?
  8. I like the close up photo of the turbo. Looking good.
  9. I have always heard that but have also read that it was a old wife's tale. I would error on the side of caution.
  10. Yes, they made the rad smaller in 99 and I could never think of why they did it. Sorry, no help.
  11. Nice. How much did you sweat prying on the tires?
  12. I did replace the R/R on mine before anything happened with a R-1 unit. It gave me some peace of mind about it.
  13. I have the integrated and really like it.
  14. That would be a very nice buy. I wish that I had the space.
  15. If you ride once a week, why would you put a tender on it? It will be fine.
  16. :icon_machinegun: :icon_slap:
  17. That has to be staggering on the street.
  18. Turn it left. Use a socket and breaker bar.
