Like Super said, if you can get the part, take it to any machine shop or even a decent auto repair shop to press the bearings.

I didn't think you had that many miles on it. Did the manual recommend it at your mileage? A couple of years ago I pulled the shaft out of my 1994 (that I bought new) to grease the driveshaft. After pulling it did it need it, NO. Total waste of effort. Made me LOL! A new word.

I have four Battery Tenders ranging from over 30 years old to a year old that get used from Nov to April. Never had a problem with any of them. Zero, years ago I remember you saying that you didn't use them because you didn't like using "vampire" electronics or something like that. Have things changed?

Never thought about having a old one in the garage to use. Not sure it would get used enough to justify the space which is at a premium.

Years ago we had bought another car and was going to sell the old one. I didn't want to get crap about having a car parked on the street in my small town so I put an old dead plate on it (and a for sale sign) but didn't drive it. Guess who bought it? A cop, he said that he ran the dead plate and didn't seem to have any problems test driving it with the plate on it. I don't know if there is a difference with the car just sitting there as apposed to driving it?

I only eat 1/4 cup per day, the wife eats them also. Always buy the slow cook and after short look at Walmart.com, most organics are quick cook and cost a good bit more. But I will look around more.

There is no way you will get a better deal.

Great, the one thing I eat every morning is now bad for me. 😉 So this doesn't seem like many here would worry about reproductive issues. Also: So it's in more than just oats.
