Ya, if I had to pick 1 thing to either replace before I go or carry a spare of, it would be the R/R. Getting stuck somewhere because you've got no power and no dealer anywhere (that I've found) has it in stock, makes for a really crappy trip.

When you say 'high temp' what do you mean? I've had the bird out in stop and go traffic on the 101 and have the temperature gauge start moving up quickly, but its never been a problem. Does the engine get hot? Yes, its an engine. Does it get hot and show any signs of running poorly, cooling failure, boil over, and anything of that nature? Never... I think alot of people see the temperature gauge move more than a few degrees and overreact. Of course its going to get warmer, but that doesn't mean that the cooling system isn't doing its job.... What temps are you seeing on your 03 that you think are too high?

The HID kits will flicker if the battery and/or R/R are on their way out. Thats how I knew the R/R on the VFR was on its way out, I noticed a slight flicker at night with the HID's on. Next morning the battery was dead, and when I checked the R/R it was no longer charging. So, as Joe said - check your battery and R/R.

It's set at 10 now...

This issue should be resolved now, and there should be no one on your block list that you didn't add previously.

I can't say I noticed this, but then again I never had anyone in my blocked list or my buddies list. I'll take a look in to it. Can anyone else confirm this?

As far as I know, the wave shape provides greater surface area to dissipate the heat - not that very many of us will ever push that limit. At the same time, I believe the Galfer wave rotors weigh roughly .4lb less than the stock rotors. ...I consider it far more bling than actual improvement, but then again I've never ridden on a bike with a set.
