    EXHAUST ?

I have Yosh slip ons, just a little louder than stock. I really like the look of the two bros M5 slip ons.
  3. Allen bolts, do you mean rivets? I have Yosh's and have never noticed allen bolts.
  4. This is what an '02 looks like. They sure change every model year, they all do.

    No-Mar

I saw one demonstrated at the Hoot last year, it is one nice piece of machinery. Walt does it for free though, can't beat that deal.
  6. I just bought an 8500 after receiving an excellent driving award the other night. They're good products, whomever gets it will be happy.
  7. Me too. Works well. Mike did good. Now, if I could only ride as good as my valves do their job. If you need any advice about installing an Ohlins in backwards the first time, just ask.
  8. One of my golfing buddies is a member. $4000 for a three year membership and $100 bucks per year after that to maintain the membership. He said he saved money on furnishings, electronics were the same prices as everywhere else. $4000 would be a lot for me to have to save. Manufactures have distributors to sell and support their products, they are not going to go around those distributors and give direct buy the same prices, terms, support, etc because all direct buy does is erode their profit margin. Direct buy says it can save thousands, I don't think it can, if it could normal competition between the traditional channels would already be doing it because they want to make sales too.
  9. As a percentage of Busas on the road, the number with tranny problems is negligible. The Busa tranny, or I should say Suzuki sport bike trannys in general, shift like butter. I had one, I know lots of guys with Busas, no tranny problems reported. No more than any other brand for sure. If you are getting rid of your Busa just because you think the tranny will go bad, you shouldn't. If you or a prior owner has abused it, that is another story. You know how shit goes on the internet, one guy has a problem, others think they have it, people get carried away, and all of a sudden a rumor turns into perceived reality because of hysteria by the masses.
  10. The Busa doesn't have any tranny problems or any other issues more than any other manufacturer, why would every Tom, Dick, and Harry in the world drag race them if they did? Some are putting out obscene horsepower numbers on stock trannys. No problems on the Busa except for perhaps keeping your license intact. It is just like an XX only faster, same as a Kaw 14. All three are plenty fast, pick the one that fits your physique the best. Perhaps the Busa you purchased had been abused, that can happen with any bike?
  11. It'll come back in the spring.
  12. The best/easiest thing to do is buy a meticulously cared for XX that already has the PAIR removed.
  13. Chain questions, I am the man. Step one, make sure you cut the extra links out before installing the master link, otherwise get that extended swingarm installed.
  14. This has peaked my interest. Perhaps a winter project? Spiegler
  15. You can most likely get one, I think the Akro mufflers will swap around. Get the titanium one, carbon fiber ones don't last as long. Probably not listed on the web page because slowly but surely aftermarket products for the Bird are drying up here in the states.
