4-2-1 does not let me use centerstand

i am looking for any info on how to add spools to a 01 redbird.where to drill the swing arm at. exact measurments horizonitally and vertically, dont want to drill into any strenthing ribs in the extruded swingarm. has any one used rivnuts that pitbull sells for 6mm spools? also been looking at racestandsfor none spooled swingarm. dont like the look of the stands that have round holders on them look like it would slide up the swingarm. also seen some with flat feet on them rubber coated 2 & 4 wheel models vortex rear stand non spooled 4 wheels, then pitbull non spooled 2 wheel version. what are my best choices for stands or drilling. has any one thought of making a plate to bolt up where the center stand holes are then use a floor jack to get the rear up to service then remove the plat to ride. any help in this matter would be great. with the wealth of knowledge on this board i know someone will have the info i need. thanks torturedsoul

my name is steve roberts i live in the cincinnati area. i have just installed a ohlins rear shock,and race tech front forks rebuilt,new springs,valving,oil,preload adjusters from jaws. would like to know if there is a club member in the area to help me set up the suspension.if not can you advise me to a shop that knows what they are doining.any help would be great.thanks steve roberts(torturedsoul board name)

i have full set up from race tech.i have .95kg springs compression and rebound valves 140mm oil level.also have preload adj on fork caps.i am 205-210in gear bike stays planted very well in front.no diving during hard braking front does not push out in corners 2001 BB

the shock is not shimmed, just wanted to know compression and rebound settings 200lbs in gear aggressive rider. front is spot on .95kg springs compression and rebound valves from race tech fork cap preload adjusters.front is solid as arock in the corners, rear feels like it is loosing tracking in hard corners can not trust it at full lean and pray there are no holes in the corner back end is all over if is not smooth thanks

birdie xx is correct spiegler lines have you remove the 2 hard lines from the right caliper side to the left side and replaces them with steel braided lines still retains the LBS no problems also get the clutch line big improvment.

i have installed the spiegler set . quality lines no problems on install all fittings were set correct. big improvment over stock.

just would like to know what settings everone is running on the rear ohlins shock.also is there any one in the ohio area that can help me set the shock up not sure if sag is set correct. solo rider 200lbs in gear 25mm sag by my calculations 11mm preload rebound 14clicks compression 12clicks just not sure why my sag does not change when i adjust the preload settings. all settings are stock settings from ohlins thanks.
