CHEAP Cruise Control that works great
Hankd replied to ksucrow's topic in Useful Product Links & Vendor Reviews
Still worth it...I think I found one on Ebay. I used it about 2/3 of the time riding from Ft Worth to Houston and back last weekend (575 miles). Love it. -

I use this and also have a cramp buster (that I never remove). I like this lock...can set it with one finger and it only takes a little practice to get it right...adjustments are easy...it holds pretty well...easy to override/disengage. Well worth $20. -
I hear you on the calves...I've never had my calves be as sore as I did when I first started adapting to the 5 fingers. If you want to improve the definition in your calves, I highly recommend them. You have to start from scratch and build slowly and expect some soreness.

I got my first pair in January of '11. I too had given up on running due to knee pain (2 ACL's...'90 and '92 in high school). I've done some 5k's and sprint triathlons and I only wear my Vibrams. They're the only shoe I wear to the gym now actually...weights, cardio, boot camp...I wear them for everything. First pair lasted about 1 year...bought a new pair this past January.

I switched to Jaws' straight bars, so I no longer need the Jaws cruise and bar end. I have 2 of the cruise kits (bought one for a buddy but he changed his mind and I haven't gotten around to selling it). Cruise and bar end - SOLD New cruise - SOLD The Powerlet kit (pn PKT-003-48) is new and never installed, but was opened and then stapled back together. I ended up ordering a different kit to work better with the Jaws straight bars. Would like $30 shipped (paid $40). http://www.powerlet.com/product/powerlet-s...ery-harness/327 PM me if you're interested in any of these. Thanks, Hank

Hankd replied to Hankd's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
Still have them. I need to figure out why the shipping is so high. I know it's a big box and it's around 40 lbs, but damn...the estimates don't make sense to me. -
For Sale: Givi E41 Monokey Keyless Hardbags
Hankd replied to Hankd's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
Cool. I don't know much about them...they seem top notch though. I just don't think I'll use them enough to justify the space they'll take up in the garage. -
These came with my bike and even though they're really sweet, I don't think I'll need them often enough to justify keeping them around. Would rather pass them on to somebody that will use them a bunch. They look very close to new...barely a scuff on them. I'm pretty sure they're the E41's (I'll admit, I don't know much about them). Rating on the label says 22 lbs max per side. http://www.giviusa.com/Side-hardbags/Monok...ral/E41-KEYLESS Includes mounting bracket and hardware also. (~$150) Would prefer to sell them to somebody in Dallas / Ft Worth area, but will ship if needed. (I haven't checked on shipping cost yet) $475 for cases & rack? Make me an offer if I'm out of line. Also have some stock parts in the garage...header, cans, windshield, and seat. Let me know if you're interested in any of them. Thanks, Hank
