  1. I'm trying to help friend of mine to sell a pair of brand new alpinestar tech 6 white motocross boots size 11. The boots belonged to her recently deceased son who never got a chance to wear them. The boots are located in New York state and would be shipped from there in original box. I should have some pictures of the boots tomorrow. I have one taken with phone camera but the quality is bad. Below is the picture of the same boots I found on the web. Asking price is $180 including shipping. Retail price for these was about $275
  2. I just bought set of pirelli diablo strada to replace my current 10,000 miles set from amazon.com for $230 shipped. The tires are actually sold by motorycle accessories warehouse but I dealt only with amazon. This was the best price I could find curently online.
  3. Yes; I would swear from looking at the pic it was you
  4. After checking out your picture I realized I saw you in Brownsville TX last week in front of chineese restaurant!
  5. Jay; why would you want to do the valve check? As per my local honda dealer the blackbird 'does not need valve adjusted' They also insist there is not such a procedure as 'throttle body synchronizaton' :icon_think:
  6. Nice bike; trophies were for winning sport bike show some time ago IIRC. There was a thread about this somewhere
  7. I cannot find the link to video showing the guy breaking the bead using the van
  8. one of the instructional(?) videos shows guy breaking a tire bed by driving over the tire portion with the van; it actually worked pretty well Picture below shows another solution
  9. anyone can bring the tool to OzarXX?
  10. Joe, now I'm confused...I did not mention the bolt broke off. The bolt I refer to is called front engine mount as per manual, it goes through the frame and then threaded hole in the engine. You can see the bolt head in the picture below
  11. pilot roads = problem solved
  12. Don't worry Jay, I'll be there. I realized the most probable cause for my problem was using wrong frame slider spacer. Short goes on right side and long on the left. I kept all my parts separated as per left side and right but somehow I managed to mix them
  13. the nut of certain thickness migh work; I will look into it tomorrow. O.K. I just checked the area moment ago; there is not much space to the front of the hole. It might work if I grind off part of the nut. Right now it looks like heli coil is the answer but I do not want to take the engine out. I have to do some research on the size of the drill needed for heli coil. I do not think it's much bigger then the hole in the frame. The bolt itself has some free space inside the frame hole.
