  1. **SOLD!!** Actually, it's not a full system, rather, a pair of Erion Racing Black Aluminum slip-ons, and they do indeed sound sweeeeeet......
  2. Yep... taking a noteworthy loss, but them's the breaks for impulse-buying the Hayabusa about 9 months ago. I got a decent deal at the time, as it was right before Galfer raised their retail prices for 2008. IIRC, I paid something like $530, shipped. In any event, a sale is pending on the rotors; as soon as I see the $$ hit my PayPal account, I'll mark them as sold. There are only three goodies remaining now, two of which I only discovered today while packing up the Ohlins shock that was sold: Aux Light Brackets, and a Speed-O-Healer for the Blackbird. I'll post up those two later today. Otherwise... only the Erion Racing slip-ons remain for sale... everything else has been scarfed up.
  3. The new HEL distributor website is actually: http://www.h-e-lusa.com/
  4. Lowering the price on these for a quick sale, but I am not going to just give them away.... You can have these brand-new rotors for $395, you pay shipping.
  5. It is characterized as a "total loss" system, so there is some residual fling-off...... but it's pretty trivial, if your flow rate is set properly. Too, a little WD-40 on a shop towel, and it wipes up effortlessly. In the case of the Pro-Oiler, yes, it absolutely "senses" when it needs to dispense oil, because it is connected to your odometer pick-up! It dispenses oil based *strictly* upon distance ridden... which is the proper way to go about it. If you run into a situation where you temporarily need a greater flow rate - say, riding through heavy rain, or riding through a desert dust storm, etc - the Pro-Oiler has a control module that sits on the triple tree, allowing you to temporarily increase (or decrease) oil flow while underway.
  6. If you install a good chain oiler (that actually works well), you would be amazed at how infrequently you have to adjust your chain. I put a Pro-Oiler on the K8 last winter, and the stock chain has, amazingly enough, required NO adjustment in the past 28,000 miles (other than when it gets adjusted during a rear tire change.) I've had a Tsubaki chain and oem sprockets sitting on the shelf for months, waiting for the stock chain to wear out.... but it's still going strong, no kinks/tight spots/etc. The Pro-Oiler's twin-nozzle dispenser kicks serious ass.....
  7. Good god, you could do a BBG on one fill-up! Yeah, that BBG Hell Week ride last year was pretty nuts; we won't be doing *that* one again, most definitely. The setup in this photo was a total of 21 gallons of onboard fuel, but at the pace I was maintaining, I still need two gas stops for each 1500-mile run.
  8. **SOLD!!** This Givi Wingrack kit contains everything you need to mount both sidecases and a top box. I had used this system for just a couple weeks last year; it is in like-new condition! Take it all for only $175, shipped and insured! Send me a PM for my PayPal account info, if you are interested. Here is the kit holding a pair of aux fuel cells, and here on the top rack I am using a Givi E21, which is normally a side case:
  9. For Sale: POWER COMMANDER II Item has been sold! This item fits '99-'03 Blackbirds. It is currently loaded with a map for a Erion Racing 4-2-1 full system, so unless you have such a setup, you'll want to upload your own map. Most internet pricing for a new Power Commander is around $289; the first $125 takes it..... Send me a PM for the PayPal account info if you want this baby....
  10. **SOLD!!** ERION RACING BLACK ALUMINUM SLIP-ON EXHAUSTS This is a big score for whoever buys these, because Erion has ceased production on these pipes! These are gorgeous Black Aluminum Slip-ons in outstanding condition. They have approx 22,000 miles on them, and have normal blemish marks consistent with this usage (i.e. normal wear marks where the retaining straps goes around the canister). The mid-pipes need some polishing to remove some boot marks. These are already packed in a big box, ready to go to the post office, and the first $425 gets them, INCLUDING SHIPPING AND INSURANCE. Here's a pic of them when they were installed on my first Blackbird.... these are gorgeous pipes!
  11. What.... for a guy like you?! :icon_think: I am waiting to ensure the price model is the same, regardless, I asked the vendor, and he said "yes"! You are hooked up, my brother! :icon_thumbsup: Appreciate the kind words, Yakasuko.

    Fork Sag

Too, given the fork dive of our non-adjustable Showa forks, that's probably a goods idea. I'm currently running about 35mm on my forks, but there's a lot, LOT less fork dive compared to stock with the Axxion AK-20 Cartridge Kit installed.

    Fork Sag

Stock forks to date? Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you're saying... how are "setting" sag on these? Swapping out different spacers, or..... :icon_think:
  14. That's eight. We're in. Standby for ordering instructions....
  15. It is actually quite common, and not to be concerned about if it goes away above 1700-2000 RPM. Linky ==> Search results for "knocking"
  16. According to the engineer at DynoJet that I spoke with yesterday, it's confirmed. He mentioned serveral times that the do NOT even manufacture the PC-II anymore; all are PC-IIIusb's now.
  17. Yeah, I'm sorta fearful of what the vendor is going to be able to do for us with regard to the price of the LCD option... it's brand new (may not even be available yet), and throngs of PC-III owners are clamoring for it.... I don't think we can expect much joy regarding a steeply discounted price.... Still, I'm waiting to hear to positive words from him.... :icon_pray:
  18. Need just 5 more to make this happen.... I'll ASSume the guy who voted for me to "shut the fuck up or better yet leave" didn't actually want one.... I am working that issue..... truth be told, I just learned about the LCD display option today while holding discussions with DynoJet. I tells ya what, I'm really looking forward to see this LCD option in the flesh. The ability to switch maps on the fly based upon your prevailing riding environment is completely kick-ass!!!!!! :icon_thumbsup: :icon_thumbsup: :icon_thumbsup:
  19. Just got off the phone with DynoJet..... All models are the PC-III nowadays; no more PC-II They have them for all US model years (PGM-FI).
  20. No, not 100% necessary. Makes life much easier, though. Truthfully, I was doing a lot of other mods at the time (Traxxion forks, HID install, etc), so I had all my shit off the front of the bike anyway.
