  1. Was downstairs tearing down my XX and putting my sons bike back together listening to spotify. I like it better than pandora, far better better selection of songs and similar artists they throw in are better also. Bye bye pandora
  2. I use pandora and listen to pod casts constantly, probably close to 40 hrs a week. My issue with Pandora for example, I listen to Marilyn Manson or Rob Zombie channels and get some pretty weak ass crap tossed in constantly. The ads don't bother me so much, but you like one different song and the channel goes from Manson to Hanson pretty damn quick. Prime is another option like Carlos mentioned along with Samsung music is another. I have yet to use spotify, would have to check with my son on the latest greatest. Podcasts and audio books tossed in breaks up the music. If someone ever looked at my podcasts and audiobook list though, I would be deemed a schizophrenia homicidal manic. Its nothing but cold cases, murder mysteries, dark stories and a couple hunting podcasts like Meat Eater by Steve Rinella. Some audio books I have listened to in the past are pretty messed up. Stephen King doesn't hold a match to some stories I have listened to,
  3. Triumph daytona has them. Only issue I have seen is the o-rings dry up and need replacing
  4. S21 or S22 Just spooned a fresh set on this past weekend and hitting the gap in 2 weeks for 4 days.
  5. i would have inserted a cat into the shed with kitty door to come and go as it pleases..
  6. Got some tri-flow left over from my sons kart racing. Seems to be good stuff, If you can ever find it. Royal purple makes a spray lube.. good stuff as well
  7. i just want to know how someone wears out the brake pads in 13k miles? that is a lot of braking either way EBC or Vesrah is what I like to use. Doubt you will find Vesrah for the XX, mostly used for track duty common bikes.
  8. Back of license plate. After destroying a couple stickers on the fork tube due to fork rebuilds I put them back there. The one and only time an officer stood there looking as I was getting my license from my tank bag I kindly said "back side of plate", he gave a quick glance and all was well again.
  9. Whats the best Amazon oil for my XX? 😉 that should speed things along.
  10. I screwed up last time and got it from Napa for $26 along with a $14 napa silver filter. The T6 was less than $20 last time I got some at Walmart so was curious why it went up. Just checked online at nearest store and Walmarts page says $19.97. Dont know, Either way got to change oil, went on amazon and saw they sell their own oil now..
  11. They also have $7 rebate if you buy before dec. 31
  12. Rotella T6 Synthetic Diesel Motor Oil 5W-40 CJ-4, 1 Gallon - Pack of 1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LH7L0KS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_h2sgCbZSH2VCA Its $22.50 per gal and $56 for the 2.5 gal jugs near me. Saw it for that while getting oil and filter for my wifes car Saturday
  13. They seem to have a decent selection of oil available. Wonder who produces it for them though? Next oil service should be in the next month. Also noticed T6 oil is cheapest on Amazon vs. Buying at Walmart now as well. Need just over 3 gallons for 2 wheeled toys.
  14. You will want a contractor that specializes in home drainage or basement repairs. They will have the most experience with the materials needed. There should be a waterproof membrane on the outside of the basement wall. However, this membrane can be easily damaged when putting stone in as well. Dont know the age of your home, most companies that install our systems or drainage systems apply a filter fabric to help prevent fine silts from entering the actual media layer. Just had a customer within 2 weeks complain. Pulled test samples and material was all packed tight and this was for 8 to 10 inches deep. No filter fabric layer and their 80k bio pond was full. It was a year old and installed wrong. Lots of fly by night contractors are installing these wrong, just as many contractors are producing biofilter media wrong as well. Its a newer market that has engineers putting systems in new construction projects.
  15. They may be able to create a temporary bandaid fix but thats it. My job deals with stormwater runoff and bio retention ponds. Trust me, I deal with customers all the time who scream about water back ups. They quickly learn that their cheap ass contractor installed everything wrong or actually promoted sediment to be trapped in the voids of the media. Changing the flow of water around the help is the starting point and will allow water to slowly drain from french drain. The material needs to be replaced to be done correctly.
  16. French drains cant be fixed properly without digging up and replacing with proper stone again. That is the downside to them is that the open voids slowly fill and you develop leaks as the water has no route to go to escape the intended path. Could see about doing some better water management drainage solutions around the house to promote water to flow away and around the foundation as unusual amounts of rain this year has everything saturated.
  17. Got a PC? Unplug and try
  18. Give you $50 for your bad shock and a used but working (key word) OEM shock. For $150 I would send it off and woohoo act surprised when it arrives back in top notch form.
  19. Good idea and easy fix. I changed footpegs on my XX and the side stand was right against the peg. This led to my textile pants cuff hooking the side stand several times coming to a stop light. Almost fell over once and always killed the engine.
  20. Not leaving the chain soaked for 24hrs as in the test. There is some residual kero left but most all is wiped away within minutes or flung off. Chain is all shiny and clean, don't forget to rinse off your grunge brush also... carb or brake clean will swell the crap out of rubber. Learned that mistake years ago when rebuilding the carbs on a kawi 454 ltd Let them sit for a day or so and fit again.
  21. I still use a grunge brush and kerosene takes maybe 5 minutes total scrub really good, wipe down, scrub down again, wipe down really good. Use some dupont chain wax I found at lowes in between scrub downs. got 26k miles out of last chain, still in limits but developed a tight link and front sprocket was due as well.
  22. Thanks. Had thought about running these on my F150 next to try out. Takes about an hour to change the bulbs. Crappy design that uses 10 bolts, screws and pins to just reach them. Also lack a lot of ventilation as they have them rubber back seals to keep mud and rain out of the other part of a crappy design.
  23. Little question on the heat output of the LED bulbs. Seen them with the built in heat sink and even small fans to keep them cool. Is this to protect the electronics or the diodes themselves from heat exposure? Do HID bulbs produce this much heat as well or do the ballasts?
