  1. That sounds like a lot more than I expected, but it will certainly be appreciated!
  2. Oh yeah, and a list of the major tools you used, and the tools you wish you had if doing it again would be fantastic. I'm still at the level where I can envision what it should look like, but not sure what tool to use to make it look that way. I have a shipment of exotic woods arriving tomorrow, gonna have to build something.
  3. :worship: Stunning. When you have time, how about posting this in a new thread and tell us what wood you used, stains/finishes, and any techniques that particularly were important, that sort of stuff?

    Diluted oil?

How many miles on the plugs?
  5. http://www.ent.iastate.edu/misc/insectsasfood/ccg.html Just remember to make the chocolate with Stevia instead of sugar.
  6. Yes! And at least a few 20a circuits for compressor, table saw, etc. Do double or triple-gang boxes, the cost differential is minimal and having 4-6 outlets per box is SO nice. Retrofitting is such a pain--said from recent experience...
  7. Hmm, last time I bought it, it was $17.88. Varies by location I guess.
  8. Bahahaha. Meanwhile over on the busa board they are discussing a recall on the entire clutch... Mine broke too, so I just tied it and it's been fine since. I use mine for a different purpose though:
  9. I wasn't talking about anyone here, I was talking about the Sport Rider Magazine idiots. I wouldn't call anyone here a "moron."
  10. Those guys are fucking morons. A "stiff bristled brush" is the dumbest thing to use on your chain. Even DID says so on their site. A toothbrush is marginally better. ANY brush will end up getting into the rings, the worst possible thing for your chain.
  11. Yeah, but now there's too much crap in the way. I cleared out half of it, built a cabinet to store more of it, time ran out, and then it turned into a clusterfuck again. Randy--let me offer this advice. Don't let ANYTHING pile up in there at all. Nothing. Don't come home tired from Lowe's and drop a bag on the workbench. Next thing you know you can't walk into the place.
  12. Yes. But hey, someone is paying me to build them a near duplicate of that bathroom sink I made, so it covers the planer. I sure as hell am not going to make something like that without a planer again!
  13. Huh? He got answers, we reserve the right the add in humor and bullshit too.
  14. Leave it alone. Cleaning can only do harm, not improve life.
  15. Lucky bastard. I shoulda just gutted the garage and started over when I moved into this place.

    Brake lines

It's just like the SR-71 then. Leaks when stopped, but if you get enough speed the heat from air friction will expand the metal and it seals up.

    Brake lines

I just weighed myself before and after. Gave birth to a nice 2.7 pound baby brown boneless trout. Easier and much faster than a brake kit.
  18. Now I just need to find something that needs flattening around here.
  19. Lookie what I just bought! http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/TP1300LS-Thickness-Planer/ Highly rated, good price, and a lifetime warranty.
  20. Also test for snapping it on your dick.

    Brake lines

There is absolutely no point in changing all the lines. You don't "feel" the LBS lines flexing, and the rear brake is just not important enough. The brake kit is two front lines, the clutch is one line.

    Brake lines

The Galfer kit was created on my bike when I rode it out to Galfer a couple years ago, so I'm pretty sure it exists... I had originally measured and got custom lines sent out, then after some trial time went out there and we refined the kit based on that experience. There's also a +2 kit for high bars like VFR bars and Helibars (not necessary on the clutch side).
  23. If you shit before you go ride you'll gain more than 2 HP. At least I do. Every 7 pounds is 1 HP. Seriously, why risk anything at all, even if it's slight, for a change that is completely impossible to notice and is less than the variations from just temp, altitude, humidity, etc.

    Brake pads

I like the Blacks better than stock. They are gentle on the rotors compared to the EBC HH. The EBCs bite harder initially, but they have a very non-linear heat/friction curve which bothers me.

    Brake pads

Those are just Galfer Black pads repackaged. Good pad, it's what I have right now. Compare prices to what you can get from cyclebrakes.com and buy accordingly.
